Before I had a real encounter with God I was hanging around with the wrong crowd and chasing after popularity. During this time I was convicted about what I was doing but ignoring it because I really just wanted to be the big man on campus.
I had an extreme encounter with God at a youth event. Ephesians 3:20 says “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” God showed me that I need to change what I was doing and focus on things that are really important.
God has helped me with my maturity and I’ve regained my parent’s trust. I also have a new group of friends that build me up and help me see how fun and freeing being a Christian is.
