Christmas in the Village: “Celtic Christmas” — Celebrate the magic of the season featuring two enchanting performances: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 7, 2025, 4:00 p.m. “What a beautiful time of year to share holiday favorites, infused with the spirit and charm of Celtic music—plus a few delightful surprises along the way.  Join us for an unforgettable musical journey that blends the warmth of the holidays with the rich traditions of Celtic sound, featuring Vocal Vision, Vocal Vision Youth, Vocal Vibes, members of the Symphony of the Lakes, Grace College’s Lancer Chorus, and a guest performance by Celtic Dancers and Musicians. 


Tickets are $12 for seniors and students and $15 for adults. Children 5 and under are free (with any ticket purchase).

Come join the members of Greater Mount Ararat Church, 2111 Edsall Ave, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., as we host the dedication of a Memorial Parkway honoring Pastor Ernest K. Starks. Mayor Sharon Tucker will be in attendance and has granted a proclamation and Councilwoman Rohli Booker, along with other dignitaries have agreed to participate.


Pastor Starks was a devoted community leader who faithfully pastored Greater Mount Ararat Church for 42 years prior to his passing in 2023. Under Pastor Starks’ leadership, countless lives were positively impacted, and a strong spirit of unity was cultivated through community activities, outreach initiatives, and his unwavering commitment to service.


Greater Mount Ararat Church is a spiritually vibrant congregation that nurtures believers, reaches the lost, and influences our city through prayer, biblical teaching, and a spirit of excellence—reflecting Christ in all we do.

Faith United Methodist Church will be hosting our annual Traditional Christmas Meal for the community!  We will be serving Turkey, Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Green Beans, Desserts, and Drinks. We will also be having Christmas Music and fellowship. Come early to assure a seat (Meals while supplies last). This is a free event!
