Gospel Jubilee

Faith United Methodist, in collaboration with Urban Update, present a Gospel Jubilee free to the community on Feb. 18th in celebration of black history month.  We also will have local vendors.  Also, on February 19th from 12:30-2:30p, we will have a black soul food dinner! Cost for the dinner is $12, (chicken, yams, greens, Mac & cheese, string beans, and cornbread) and a discussion around historically why soul food is synonymous to the black culture & why those foods specifically, and also a discussion around racial reconciliation and healing and ideas about how we can begin to move forward together.
